Pokemon Platinum is another installment in the D/P series. It includes many new features, but it is in the same region, which means it has the same starters, as well as the same story (for the most part).
Platinum also has lots of new features, including your own villa, Heatran, the Battle Frontier, and even a super-strong Magikarp. It also brings us Arceus, the Multitype Pokemon. At level 100, it learnes the exellent move Judgement, that changes type depending on what plate Arceus is holding!
Overall, Platinum is like any other trio master; a new, improved version of its previous games. Platinum is just more fun than that.
